Back in 1998 when our family was thriving with two young toddlers in the house, we found that car rides were becoming more and more stressful. "Daddy, Teddy fell on the floor"; "Mommy, I dropped my book". It was then that we decided a trip to the store was necessary to look for a solution to our problem. We were no longer willing to multi-task while driving! Unfortunately our hunt produced products that our children could not use independently. Other products were costly and not very practical.
